I knew the move predated the killer defense targeting one in the video games by a few generations, but I didn’t realize it went back to Gen 1. Awesome card, art, and move.

This is actually meant to be the same attack as Confusion in the games, but it was mistranslated. What ended up happening was that Confusion is now known as Psy Bolt, and Psyshock did end up becoming a different attack but much later on
