Does this damage happen before or after the devolution?

It applies damage and then devolves. If he hits into and ex, he deals 100 and then can devolve it to its stage 1/basic that has less HP. If its HP is less than 100, it is knocked out and you get one prize card. If he attacks into an ex that had say, 10hp remaining, Aero deals 100 and KOs and gets 2 Prize cards.
