    The upcoming Mega Gardevoir ex actually seems like a power-crept version of this card. Its first attack has almost the same effect*, and its second attack does nearly as much damage per Energy without actually discarding those Energy, for one Energy less. It has 50 more HP and a lower retreat cost, and while requiring Rare Candy could be seen as a drawback, I would argue evolving from a single prize basic instead of a Multiprize one makes up for that, as evolving V’s were a liability when going second.

    Only attaching basic Energy, but that won’t matter unless Pokémon prints any Special Energy that say they provide Psychic Energy instead of saying they provide Psychic Energy while in play/attached to a Pokémon)
