PTCG Live is doing a pretty neat thing: they’re taking some old artworks like this one, and having the artist illustrate the EVOLUTION of the Pokémon too, so that there is artistic consistency in the evo line. Other examples I’ve spotted are the E-Reader Magmar, and Guardians Rising Machoke.

I just noticed that Pocket’s Machamp illustration by Saitou comes from Plasma Blast! So that one isn’t an app original — but I believe that Magmortar and Al. Raticate are.

They’ve been recycling a lot of old art and adding touches to some of it. A good example of this is they used the old fossil slowpoke and added more slowpoke to it.
