What happens when a Miraculous Mew meets an Miraculous Charm?
Mew VMAX‘s Max Miracle:
JP: このワザのダメージは、相手のバトルポケモンにかかっている効果を計算しない。
EN: This attack’s damage isn’t affected by any effects on your opponent’s Active Pokémon.
Altaria’s Miraculous Charm:
JP: このポケモンは、相手の「ポケモンV・GX」からワザのダメージを受けない。
EN: Prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks from your opponent’s Pokémon V and Pokémon-GX.
𝑸. If I use Mew VMAX’s Max Miracle to attack Altaria, can it damage Altaria?
𝑨. Yes, it can.
I’m of the impression this has to do with the order in which you determine the order of effects when they occur simultaneously? If I’m attacking with Mew VMAX, because it’s my turn, I get to decide the order by which two things with equal priority occur. I would decide Miraculous Charm’s effect is applied first, and then apply Max Miracle’s effect to override that and do the damage.
