Makoto Imai contributed artwork for Platinum, Rising Rivals, and a DP promo – all the cards were related to Team Galactic, save for Pokémon Contest Hall Stadium card. He is credited in Pokémon Battle Revolution (PBR) as part of the 3D Character Design team. (He likely is/was a staff member of Creatures, but I haven’t found anything to confirm it.)
See also Yusuke Ishikawa and Ryota Saito, who also did 3D artwork for the Platinum block and are credited as part of PBR’s Modeling and Animation team. (Nobuyuki Fujimoto, Wataru Kawahara, and Kent Kanetsuna also contribute SP-related 3DCG work around this time and may be of interest along similar lines, but I don’t see them in the credits of PBR. Also, Kawahara and Kanetsuna’s timings don’t line up as tidily, with contributions outside of just the Platinum and Arceus blocks.)
