Poké-BODY ⇢ Holon Veil
Treat each Basic Pokémon and Evolution card in your deck, in your discard pile, in your hand, and in play as a Pokémon that has δ on its card.
{C}{C}{C} → Delta Circle : 20+
Does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each Pokémon you have in play that has δ on its card.

What about the ones in my prize cards, the lost zone, or that fell off the table and no one noticed?

Is my mouth the lost zone?

so this card makes your opponents pokemon delta species as well?
Fletcher Thomason
Yes, because it says “in play”, and not “on your side of the field”

Actually, according to the Rulings Compendium, no it doesn’t. It’s just your own in play Pokemon that get the effect.

I was wondering about that, so sad to read this, could pair well with Togetic (DF 11) instead.

Due to Dragon-types being classified as Colorless before getting their own type in Gen 5 TCG, This Delta Ampharos predicted Mega Ampharos.

Yeah–between this card and Lance’s Ampharos, they’ve clearly envisioned Amphy as a Dragon for a long time!

That’s because Ampharos’ Japanese name, ‘Denryu’ デンリュウ, literally means “electric dragon”. Before knowing that I also found Ampharos’ constant association with dragons confusing.

Kind of a Team Plasma Badge thing going on here with the Poké-BODY, but not much incentive to play around with it on a Stage 2. The Holon draw engine is powerful but doesn’t care if the Pokémon you’re playing are ẟ or not – this would be interesting if it also applied ẟ to Supporters, but that wouldn’t really help either, since Holon Transceiver looks for Supporters by whether they had Holon in their name, not the ẟ symbol on the card.

I know the Rulings Compendium says otherwise, and that Holon Veil only applies δ to your own Pokémon in play, but
•your deck
•your discard pile
•your hand
•in play
absolutely means all-in-play. I’m sure this was meant to synergize with Dewgong’s Delta Protection by turning all your opponent’s Pokémon into δ.

Pretty big blunder on the Rulings.

Machine translation is admittedly not reliable for precise language like game rules, but DeepL, Google Translate, and Bing Translator ALL come up with “your field” for the corresponding text on the Japanese version, and Yandex went with “your place.” I totally agree that the official English text doesn’t convey the info the rules team claimed it does, but the ruling is probably accurate to the original intent. It just ought to have been an errata instead.

Props for using no less than FOUR different translation machines! I didn’t even know most of them existed!

[Yes, the text says “自分の場のポケモンは”, which means “your Pokémon in play” so it only affects your own Pokémon, not your opponent’s.] is what my friend said
There are a few Delta-counter Pokemon in the sets. I thought I could make a fun deck to deltafy my Opponent’s Pokemon, and then get bonus damage and resistance. But I guess there’s no way to do it after all.

Can confirm the original Japanese specifically states 「自分の場」which means “your field”. Holon Veil was not intended to apply to your opponent’s Pokémon.
A more literal translation of the original Japanese would be: “Pokémon in your deck, your discard pile, your hand, as well as your Pokémon in play, are all treated as δ-species Pokémon.”
I always felt the “Pokémon that has δ on its card” official English phrasing to be awkward, I remember reading it thinking “yeah we know what δ-species means why do they keep putting it like that?” Now I can see it was a translation choice, since the original Japanese states 「δ-デルタ種」のポケモン which is simply “δ-species Pokémon” instead of this “δ on its card” beating around the bush.
Original Japanese for reference: 自分の山札、トラッシュ、手札にある「ポケモンのカード」と、自分の場のポケモンは、すべて「δ-デルタ種」のポケモンとしてあつかわれる。
