It is told in mythology that this Pokémon was born before the universe even existed.

Flavor wise, this card makes an interesting statement. The atrociously named “Prize Count” has been printed precisely four times, two times on psychic pokemon(though nidoqueen is a stretch for being a “psychic), two times on dark pokemon. While equilibrium effects are haphazardly divided around the types, this move seems to only appear on shadowy, edgy pokemon (even Triumphant Nidoqueen looks menacing). As an all-type cycle, the Arceus set had to adequately convey the flavor of each type.
Why is a dark type pokemon fighting harder when it is on the losing side? At a glance, the Dark type flavor suggests selfishness, mercilessness, and aggression. This seems to contradict all that it means to be dark. The flavor here, however, makes perfect sense : Arceus is casting a brutal judgment on his trainer’s opponent for causing harm to the team.

This card is exactly the same as EX Dragon Absol, minus Absol’s first attack.

It looks like it just pooped out that Darkness Plate >_>
Majestically pooped…

I have a feeling that, outside of maybe as an EX, we may never see another Arceus card printed due to the “as many as you want” rule that they had in the Arceus set.

I can’t wait for other Arceus to come in. They need to do a new run of them with Dragon and Fairy types.
The Arceus Toolbox is amazing. Ultimate Zone is ridiculous.
Blob Takeshi
Arceus got some Promo cards, but all Colorless and it has an Ability or something that makes it any Type.
