Trinity Nova is way too good of an attack.

not better than Charizard vstar’s 300 damage attack.

That’s not an apples-to-apples a comparison, is it? Trinity Star is a standard attack with decent damage output and Energy acceleration, while Charizard VSTAR’s Star Blaze consumes your once-per-game VSTAR Power to do 320 and discard 2 Energy.

If you’re only looking at the big number on a card, the current record-holder is Zacian V-UNION’s Master Blade, hitting 340. I’m surprised it’s retaining the title for so long, actually… (it’s been over a year, hasn’t it?)

As rotation comes upon us, I want to pour one out for a real one, Arceus VSTAR. Incredibly powerful, but always honest and fair card, that could enhance just about any deck when it came out. I remember playing the Brilliant Stars meta when it came out, and getting to use so many forgotten VMAX Pokemon with it, like Dhelmise VMAX, Centiskorch VMAX, and even Malamar VMAX! I’ll miss Star Birth into Trinity Nova a lot. See you later, Space Cowboy.
