I remember trying to make Archeops work at the beginning of BW-DRX. It was fun, but it didn’t work.

Archeops’ Ability is nearly identical to Fossil Aerodactyl‘s Pokémon Power. In the original Japanese, the Ability and Power share the same name (げんしのちから).

PL #6 Dialga has a similar Poke-BODY. Only works from the active spot, but it only blocks your opponent’s side of the field (not your own).

Dialga’s effect also only works on the opponent’s Active Pokémon which makes it pretty useless compared to this.

This card was banned from Expanded due to Maxie’s Hidden Ball Trick. However, when that card was banned, this card was not unbanned because of Ditto Prism Star LOT.
