The way several Bergmite huddle on its back make it look like an aircraft carrier made of ice.
Holky
This + Pokedex for a heavy mill deck.
JKBA
Yea, if you manage to discard 9 cards from your opponents deck, thats huge. Could make a fun deck
Holky
This in Unlimited with Feraligatr Neo Genesis 5… wow
JKBA
Why?
Holky
Varying with Riptide
Otaku
Feel free to explain a bit more; I am trying to grasp how exactly that works. ;) I have not been able to play Unlimited in quite some time, let alone seen any results from competitive play for it. Last I knew it was the domain of decks that either literally or practically won on the first turn.
Holky
Well… I haven’t played unlimited, I just thought it looked like a cool combo.
Otaku
I see, well thanks for letting me know quickly. I am actually writing a CotD for Avalugg right now. ;)
tototavros
For Pojo?
Otaku
…
Yes. >.>
David Peters
I heard of that website. Good stuff.
David Peters
Speaking of Pojo, did they stop writing COTDs?
Otaku
Only in that the entire site has been on vacation this last week and a half. Card of the Days are scheduled to resume tomorrow. In fact, I am here right now doing research. XD
David Peters
Ah, I was under the impression that you guys stopped entirely. Well, the more content, the better. Stay cool.

This with Swampert PRC to put energy on the top?
David Peters
Maybe. Might be clunky. Still trying to find a good way to accelerate to this guy. Maybe Palkia-EX + Max Elixir onto Bergmite.
JKBA
Instead of using things like pokedex for this pokemon, one could make an deck heavy on water energy (10-20) and then quickly burn through the deck (e.g. Battle Compressor) leaving mostly energy left in the deck. At the samme time hopefully getting some sort of setup.

I figured that, since Mallow debuted in Standard soon after this card, you could easily mill 6 or 9 cards from your opponent’s deck. This would also pitch the Water Energies into the discard pile that you can restore with Aqua Patch to set up follow-up Avalugg.
