    Polka-Dot Search’s original attack name, みずたまさがし, miiight be intended as a reference to Azurill, as Azurill’s category is みずたまポケモン (which you could translate as either “Polka-Dot Pokémon”, as the games did, or “Droplet Pokémon”, みずたま is a phrase with dual meaning and fits Azurill very well).

    At the time this card was printed, Azurill hadn’t appeared in the TCG since DP1(!), so it’s a bit of a cheeky reference to make. Thankfully, Azurill finally made a reappearance a few sets later (in Cosmic Eclipse).
