History actually repeats itself! For a really short time, we had Wally, ACE SPECs (all of which were considered Items at the time), and Trevenant XY to achieve the lock on turn 1. Now we have this, ACE SPECs again, and Salvatore.

Whoops, I meant to say that there was a really narrow time window when Wally and ACE SPECs were legal in Standard at the same time. With the very next set, Ancient Origins, Vileplume item lock took over, and ACE SPECs rotated.
