I love Banette so much and this card is what got me collecting Midori Harada art. It’s a shame Darkness Chant has a cap of 6 on it, I wonder how far you could push this little guy otherwise… it would have caused some crazy self-mill decks probably. Oh well…

Darkness Chant is decent, but Shadow steal could be a nightmare to dark and metal type decks in the late game.

“Darkness Chant” is very similar to Hatterene’s “Dripping Grudge” (though that attack has no damage cap).

how does this work with the 2004 team magma’s groudon? Its weak to dark, but resists fighting. Do you double the damage and then block 30, or do you block 30 and double what’s left?
