Although the BREAK cards are rather hideous, I appreciate that TPCi chose this feature to shine a spotlight on often-overlooked Pokémon—Raticate, Golduck, Mandibuzz, Omastar, etc.

Inspired by Ambassador’s comment r.e. Wobbuffet BREAK on Drapion V #106/203…
These are the Pokemon from gens 1-5 whose first rule-box-chase-card was their Gen 6 BREAK card:
Golduck, Zoroark, Omastar, Wobbuffet, Bronzong, Mandibuzz, Raticate, Starmie, and Marowak.

Actually, Zoroark doesn’t belong on this list. Its first chase card (in the West, at least) was the secret rare shiny version in Next Destinies.

Golduck, Raticate, Omastar, and Marowak all got “Dark” cards in Gen 2 or Gen 3. But yeah, these BREAK cards were their first sort of full-art chase card.
