Is this the first Call for Family attack?

Nidoran F also has it, but it’s twice the cost.

Bellsprout arguably got the best version of this attack in the set. For some reason Pokémon thought that being able to search your deck for ANY basic Pokémon (Even of a single type) was worth charging three Energy on a stage 1 Pokémon (Looking at you, Jungle Marowak with Call for Friend). Then in Gym Heroes, basics were allowed to have a variation of Call for Friends that costed 1 Energy, but only if it was limited to basics from a single owner, and only on a coin flip. Koga’s Zubat and Koga’s Pidgey had unique and superior takes on this effect, but it wasn’t until Skyridge Rattata’s Call for Friends that we got anything like the Call for Family we know today (The one that just lets you put any basic Pokémon onto your bench).
