It’s worth mentioning this isn’t the only time this Magmar’s second attack appears on a card. It shows up again on Team Magma’s Houndoom. For Magmar, For some reason, someone at WOTC decided マグマふんしゅつ is ‘Lava Burst’, even though マグマ is unambiguously ‘Magma’. Translating it as “Magma Spurt” for Houndoom is a little better.
