Would be good as a basic, but nothing good comes out of this on a Stage One.

If it were a basic, it would open the door to straight LEGEND decks. It would be better if it could bench them immediately, that way your opponent isn’t tempted to N (or Judge back when Yanmega was big) to get rid of it easily.

If it benched it immediately, however, you wouldn’t be able to use Ocean Grow, but other than Lugia decks there is no advantage.

I almost immediately began a new Lugia LEGEND deck on PTCGO after learning you could Ocean Grow after a Legend Box. Doing it off of a straight search would be even better. I’m not sure I’d even play something like that with another LEGEND anyways.

Wait, WOULD you be able to? Lugia says “When you put this pokemon into play”

It doesn’t say it has to be from your hand. It just says when it comes into play.

            I know, that’s what I said.

So it comes into play from the deck.
