It is possible that the creature listed as Brute Bonnet in a certain book could actually be this Pokémon.

    Although both Brute Bonnet cards Poison the opponent, in the video games Brute Bonnet does not learn any move that can inflict Poison even as a secondary effect. The card designers probably wanted one of the Paradox Pokemon to be the token status condition inflictor, but I feel like they missed the point of the design and Grass/Dark typing–it’s supposed to lack Amoonguss’s poisonous spores and instead attack the prey it ambushes with savage strength.

      It’s seen virtually zero tournament play, but I wonder if this card could make a fun single prize deck with Munkidori and the Toxtricity in Phantasmal Flames. 🤔
