A-01-# is the very first e-TCG card by ID number, and its artwork is created by Sachi Matoba, who only did one other card for the series – A-13-# Cyndaquil. Matoba’s involvement as an artist for the e-TCG would presumably stem from her work as one of Creatures’ programmers for the e-Reader, and she also worked on Pokémon Ranger, Pokémon Battle Revolution, et al.
