I’d just like to point out that the way this is written, you would do 40 damage with Mega Drain. Then you cut that number in half (20) and remove that many damage counters. In other words, you’re removing twenty damage counters, and thus, healing 200 HP. Obviously that’s not the way they intended it to be played, but the way that the attack is worded really makes it seem that way.
