Interesting, never even noticed the “Snow-Cloud” name existed. Looks like it went from Snow-Cloud Castorm to Castform Snow-Cloud Form to Castform Snowy Form. I think the Snow-Cloud name may have been invented strictly for the TCG — I’ve never seen it anywhere else. Castform’s forms didn’t become viewable in the dex of the main series until HGSS, which is shortly after the final time the TCG used the Snow-Cloud terminology. I’m not sure if HGSS actually introduced the current form names though — can’t find any complete footage of Castform’s HGSS pokedex entry.

It will always be Snow-Cloud Castform in my heart. I remember pulling the reverse foil version from Hidden Legends and just falling in love with it. It’s such a cute little Pokémon!

This ability mimics a similar thing they did with all the Rotom forms: the “Roto Motor” ability!
