Hey all, I’ve switched the bracket Energy symbols (e.g., [G], [R], etc.) over to images. Limitless has a PTCG font on their website that is available for use under the SIL Open Font License, so that’s what I’m using it here. I emailed Limitless find out more about the font, because it’s really well done, but I haven’t heard back from them yet. Regardless, I think this is an improvement over the brackets, but I’m open to feedback.

The font used is this one.

Thank you! I couldn’t figure out if Limitless created it or where it came from. I’m glad we have the source (icycatelf) identified.

My only concern is if it makes it difficult to bring up Type-based effects… and a quick test suggests that this doesn’t affect searches. Meaning, I can bring up most while doing a search for “[G] Pokémon” or “[G] Energy”.
So yeah, seems good.

Yep, I made sure to leave the brackets in the database so you can search that way. Also, if you copy the card text, you’ll get the brackets, too.
I guess I’m mostly concerned whether the symbols make the text easier to read, or if they are distracting.

Celebi looks so sassy here, like it knows Venusaur owes it a favour and won’t let go.
