At the end of each player’s turn, if that player has 8 or more cards in his or her hand, that player discards a number of cards until that player has 7 cards left in his or her hand.
· Stadium rule: This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can’t play this card.

Adam, the Amazon link links to a Magic card.

Thanks, I’m on it.

Doesn’t seem like any really exist, heh. Do you know how/when they were given out?
Ziggmiceter
Oh, it was a worlds promo. I wonder why they’re so uncommon? Like, even the 2006 Worlds promo isn’t close to $2000.

I actually saw one at Nationals over the weekend. Not many people received it and it’s from so long ago at this point. A lot of people that got one for playing in Worlds back then don’t play anymore.

Amazon now links “close” matches as US-flag related stuff.

The Prime Cup judges practically lost their heads over this one. Several trainers outright abandoned the tournament entirely out of shame and frustration.
Thanks to Celebi’s time travelling antics, Cooltrainer Marty was able to face HIMSELF in the tournament finals.

This card seems like a fun idea. Has there been another stadium card with a similar effect?

I can’t think of one! It’s pretty unique in that way. I think a smaller hand size like 4-5 could make things pretty interesting (and you could get cards into the discard to potentially “cheat” them into play later, e.g. Dynamotor).
