Ability ⇢ Flare Navigate
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may search your deck for a {R} Energy card and attach it to 1 of your Pokémon. If you do, put 1 damage counter on that Pokémon. Shuffle your deck afterward.
{R}{R}{C} → Absorb Life : 70
Heal 30 damage from this Pokémon.

The spirits burned up in its ominous flame lose their way and wander this world forever.

This Flare Navigate is basically a bad Inferno Fandango

I thought the same thing of Typhlosion Prime‘s Afterburner at one point and that proved to be the better play.

I’ve been working my way through all the Fire energy accelerating Pokemon in Unlimited 150 and I’m currently using this one! Energy from the deck can be so much better because it doesn’t rely on what’s in your hand.

It’s really a question of deckbuilding and tempo. Inferno fandango REALLY helps accelerate your energy….when it can,and it requires a considerable investment in energy to do so. This sacrifices the aggressive speed of Fandango for a powerfully consistent effect. If your team has a lot of three energy attacks, in all likelihood you won’t be losing much from the drop in energy buildup speed.
I would still prefer fandango to navigate, though.
