Pulled Punch is back! Back in the day, Erika’s Jigglypuff was a big deal, with a DCE and some PlusPower. Chansey has access to PlusPower as of its Platinum reprint, and got DCE back with its HGSS reprint… but I wonder if it saw much play. HP was slowly going up and that probably made this attack much less threatening.

This Chansey was way too weak to see play at the time, compare to HGSS Donphan Prime or Stormfront Machamp. I used to see Shuppet Donk decks back at locals with Platinum Shuppet & 4 Plus Power – you could send the Shuppet + Plus Powers back to hand then promote Claw Fossil to prevent your opponent from taking prizes. I recommend Shuppet Donk if you’re looking for a similar flavor in the DPPt-HGSS Era.
