It spits fire that is hot enough to melt boulders. It may cause forest fires by blowing flames.

Such a good ability for Gym Leader Challenge format.

I also just realized this ability is also good for {C}-type Pokémon whose attacks have high energy costs; Burn Brightly means that you needn’t be as dependent on Twin Energy or Double Turbo Energy. 🔥 🔥
Fun deck ideas that come to mind: Slaking V, BST Lickilicky, Lost Origin Snorlax

So yeah, this could be abused by Pokes who have energy discard attacks/abilities. I wonder if it applies to Retreat cost?

It also applies to retreat cost. Basically, this ability applies to anything that doesn’t specific ‘energy cards’. This ability will mean Centiskorch VMax’s attack will do an extra 80 damage per basic fire energy attached, instead of an extra 40 (for example). Go Zard’s ability wouldn’t increase M Salamance EX’s damage output though, as that attack does 40 more damage for each energy card discarded (Ninetales BREAK is another example of a card specifying energy cards, and thus wouldn’t be boosted by Go Zard). I hope this helps :)
