Can we talk for a second about how this same card in in 2 different sets?

It’s unusual, but not unheard of. Crown Zenith being a special / catch-up set, it actually included 4 Pokémon V reprinted with identical artwork, each because it either had a brand new Pokémon VMAX/VSTAR or a reprinted version with new artwork. Heck, in this very set (Brilliant Stars), Mimikyu V was reprinted due to the new Mimikyu VMAX. All of that said, it is fortunately an uncommon occurrence.

Off the top of my head, this also happened with the Mimikyu V from Battle Styles being reprinted in Brilliant Stars. In both cases, the reprinted card received a new, base rarity evolution – new art for Charizard VStar and the entirely new Mimikyu VMAX. Creatures and TPCi presumably didn’t want the new cards to be orphaned within their own sets, even if they didn’t budget for more new art.
