Yeah, I love how Charizard’s tail flame has turned blue from the heat. Instead of cheapening Mewtwo’s status as a legendary Pokémon, they’ve shown Charizard going all-out, its fire roaring with adrenaline, embers spewing everywhere, attempting to drop a cliff-face (And other Pokémon) on top of Mewtwo in a desperate bid to stay in the fight. Meanwhile, if you skip to Mewtwo’s point of view, it’s barely breaking a sweat as it summons a massive Shadow Ball. Far from determined or wary, it seems merely annoyed, curling its lip disdainfully as it prepares to annihilate this hot-headed nuisance.
