Man, they really pulled out all of the stops with power creep here. I mean, it’s not going to do anything in this competitive environment, but wow. Compare this to base set Charmeleon. Raging claws humongously outperforms flamethrower,and flare allows this thing to attack immediately, something that the base set printing lacked. Its only comparative weakness is its inferior retreat cost and inability to be used in decks without fire/nonbasic energy
