I can see this being a possible tech in Plasma Decks and others as the tool cards from Plasma Blast are very powerful. Plasma already needs at least 2 tool scrapper to even survive against decks like Trubbish/Sigilyph/Masquerain, Virizion/Genesect (to discard G Booster as often as possible), and anything else that runs Silver Mirror. Discarding 9 tools at once from your opponent’s pokemon vs. a Trubbish deck would be awesome.

Also, it’s a 60-HP lightning-weak basic. Thundurus EX says, “Hello.” I love Chatot as a Pokemon, but this card is just not good in a metagame where the most popular deck runs at least 2 Thundurus. It could be better in a different format, though!

Literally two sets later, an item card that perfectly replicates this guy’s first attack(without the energy requirement!) was printed. Poor Chatot.
