The hatred of those who perished by the sword long ago has clad itself in snow and become a Pokémon.
Whirlpool
This is the second single prize Chien-Pao card, and its flavor text once again uses the Pokedex entry from “Pokemon Violet.” Same for Wo-Chien.
By contrast, Chi-yu and Ting-Lu have two unique single prize cards that use the flavor text from both “Scarlet” and “Violet.”
Whirlpool
POR Chien-Pao also still uses the same flavor text…

Does the ability trigger before or after Chien-Pao has been placed to the bench? So can it remove itself with Area Zero Underdepths?
Charmaster
Yes, it can remove itself with Area Zero Underdepths. The effect triggers after it has been placed on the bench, so Tera Box players often use it to remove Mega Kangaskhan ex from play (Along with the Chien-Pao and another Pokémon). Just don’t forget to make sure there is a Tera Pokémon in play if you want to play Area Zero Underdepths again! Someone made that mistake on-stream at the World Championships.
