Comfey picks flowers with its vine and decorates itself with them. For some reason, flowers won’t wither once they’re attached to a Comfey.
Hibachi
Comfey is part of a very popular engine in Japan right now, used alongside Colress’s Experiment, Mirage Gate, Lost Vaccum, et al., with Mirage Gate being the core of this draw engine. What is interesting is that this is a Lost Zone engine coming, as Lost Zone has always been wont to do, towards the end of a generational block of the TCG – what the TCG is also wont to do is to immediately stop acknowledging the Lost Zone at the start of the new TCG.
It doesn’t appear that Incandescent Arcana had any hard Lost Zone counters – so when Silver Tempest drops in November, we might not end up with any either, and if VSTAR Universe/SWSH12.5 doesn’t do anything to counter LZ either, this Comfey card has a good shot of lingering around as part of a reliable draw engine core for quite a while into Gen 9, more likely to only be phased out by a better draw engine than anything actually interfering with LZ mechanics.
