Rather than rely on their strength, they master moves that make good use of centrifugal force to swing around concrete.

Has there literally ever been a format where multiple decks using a single prize stage 2 as their primary attacker have seen competitive play? I know Greninja BREAK was pretty good, I recall hearing some stage 2 Prime cards during the HGSS formats saw play as attackers, and I would imagine maybe some existed during the e card formats, but that’s about it. There’s just so much going against single prize stage 2 cards that I fear in competitive play they will forever be relegated to support like PAL Baxcalibur and that attacking cards like this one will never really be used

Theres been multiple viable Stage 2 single prize decks in a ton of formats (long list incoming):
-2004 Worlds format is a weird one, but I’d say Crobat HL and Blaziken RS count here. There are also a lot of edge cases though.
-2005 Worlds for example has both Dark Tyranitars, Nidoqueen RG, and Ludicolo DX as separate decks.
-2006 Worlds adds Delta Metagross DS to the aforementioned decks,
-2007 Worlds has Infernape DP and Empoleon DP at least, maybe others I’m not remembering.
-2008 Worlds Format had Empoleon MD (although it had a stage 1 as a partner), Gardevoir SW partnered with Gallade SW, Torterra Lvl X paired with Sceptile GE, and others,
-2009 Worlds has Flygon RR, Machamp SF, Magnezone SF, Tyranitar SF, the aforementioned Gardevoir and Gallade SW, and others,
-2010 Worlds had AGAIN the aforementioned Gardevoir, Gallade, and also the aforementioned Machamp and Flygon. Had Garchomp SV, Torterra UL, Jumpluff HS, and others as well,
-2011 Worlds had some stage 2s, but this was pretty much the end. Magnezone Prime was huge however, winning Worlds and being the best card in the format.

By no coincidence, these formats tend to be the most well liked, and the most heavily played retro formats as well.
