A couple Q&A from pokemon-card.com regarding this card;
𝑄. If my Crabominable has 2 Fighting Energy and 1 Unit Energy {G}{R}{W} attached, does Freezing Punch do the additional 80 damage?

𝑄. When I have more Prize Cards remaining than my opponent, and I attack with a Crabominable with 1 Counter Energy and 1 Grass Energy attached, does Freezing Punch do the additional 80 damage?

The first Q&A is fairly obvious, but the second one helps clarify any dispute regarding the limits of Rainbow Energy-like cards and their “at a time” provision. That is, while you are using Counter Energy’s Rainbow-like effect to cover the {F} cost of Freezing Punch, it is also providing {W} Energy ‘at the same time’, despite what is implied by the wording. Having now actually bothered to look at the original JP text of Rainbow Energy alongside this ruling, I think ‘at a time’ is something that should be dropped from the wording of the translation…
