No, all effects are erased when a Pokémon is benched, unless the effect explicitly states otherwise.

Funny that the TCG has this Dark/Steel type Cradily, but has never had an {F}-type Cradily!
In like manner–we’ve also never seen a {G}-type Armaldo. Cradily is part rock-type and Armaldo is part bug-type, so they could def make these cards if they wanted to!
