Pokémon (Cradily) › Stage 2 : Evolves from Lileep

Poké-BODY ⇢ Super Suction Cups
As long as Cradily is your Active Pokémon, your opponent’s Pokémon can’t retreat.

{C} → Lure Poison
Before using this effect, you may switch the Defending Pokémon with 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon, if any. The Defending Pokémon is now Poisoned.

{G}{C}{C} → Spiral Drain : 50
Remove 2 damage counters from Cradily (remove 1 if there is only 1).

    First appearance of “Lure Poison.”
I assume that an effect-blocking ability/tool, like Holon WP Energy, would prevent this move from activating. Right? If your opponent has a benched Pokémon with WP Energy attached, then you can’t Lure it out.

If your opponent’s active {W} Pokémon has WP energy attached, but a benched ‘mon doesn’t — I assume you can lure that benched one out? And the former active Pokémon with the WP gets sent to the bench.
Because Lure wasn’t *targeting* the active Pokémon, the effect-blocking ability of WP never activates.
