There is a modification to Pokemon Checkup here. Is this applied to every Pokemon Checkup, or just the one for the current turn?

That modification is for the Poison condition inflicted by this attack. It would last indefinitely until the Poison is removed (or replaced by a different “normal” Poison condition inflicted by something else).
