Yeesh, talk about efficient . You’re basically pulling off a gust of wind without even using up a card(though ,they get to choose which pokemon they switch to…) with the slight downside of placing a colorless energy on your mon instead of a colored one. If you have no other energy cards in your hand? Well , it has become a card that gusts the opponent AND gives you an energy at the same time.
Now, can you imagine what would have happened if they just stapled OTHER overpowered trainers onto energy cards?
“Bill’s Energy.”
“Computer Search Energy”
or, god forbid, “Energy removal energy.”

Computer search energy? That’s more than broken, it’s time-space disruptive. Or Broken Time-Space.

Even worse: Super Energy Removal Energy.
