Pokémon Power ⇢ Sneak Attack
When you play Dark Golbat from your hand, you may choose 1 of your opponent’s Pokémon. If you do, Dark Golbat does 10 damage to that Pokémon. Apply Weakness and Resistance.
{G}{G} → Flitter
Choose 1 of your opponent’s Pokémon. This attack does 20 damage to that Pokémon. Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for this attack. (Any other effects that would happen after applying Weakness and Resistance still happen.)

Sneaks up silently on its prey and attacks it from behind, sometimes killing it with one bite.

And I thought Flash Bite was something totally new.

Is this the only reference to a Pokemon *killing* something?

I could find only one “kill” word in a flavour text, although not in the same meaning as this Golbat:
Muk · Secret Wonders (SW) #56: …The fluid instantly kills plants and trees on contact.
However, we could deduce that action from other words. For example, searching for the word prey brings some cards:
Bisharp · Noble Victories (NVI) #76: …Then Bisharp finishes off the prey.
Caterpie · Sun & Moon (SUM) #1: …but it often becomes their prey.
Lanturn · Primal Clash (PRC) #58: It blinds prey…swallows it in a single gulp.
Carnivine · Shining Legends (SLG) #6: It takes a whole day to eat prey.
Krokorok · Vivid Voltage (VIV) #108: It buries some of its prey in the sand to use as emergency meals…
