    I like how it says “all players” as if you’re supposed to show the card to EVERYONE playing in the league, not just to your opponent.
    I know there are other cards that use this phrase, but Wizards era cards sure have interesting wording!

        Yep, they were doing this, though I forget the format name but it’s evidently failed/wasn’t popular.

        Are you sure you’re not thinking of the 2 on 2 format where games were still played by only two people, only with two active Pokémon and four benched Pokémon (https://jklaczpokemon.com/ex/#introduction, https://jklaczpokemon.com/ex-decks/#2-on-2, https://jklaczpokemon.com/dpp-decks/#2-on-2)? Or the recent Team Format in Pokémon’s Alternative Play Handbook (https://assets.pokemon.com//assets/cms2/pdf/trading-card-game/tcg-alternative-play-handbook-en.pdf).
