James’ Weezing was always the most competent of the TRio’s Pokemon: much better than Arbok, and their respective cards parallel that.

Wobbuffet got better in XY, until Ash developed a strategy for it… like 2 or 3 episodes in. Anyway, Weezing is definitely James’ best Pokémon and I miss that days he was allowed to have and keep FE Pokémon. :(
