This is the first time that Darkrai has appeared as a non-star-rarity card. I’m sure that, if this were a set besides Fusion Strike, it might’ve been a non-holo rare–but because FST is so inundated with rare cards, this lil’ guy got delegated to uncommon rarity.

In English sets, it’s still very rare for Mythical/Legendary Pokemon to be anything less than a star rare. But in the original Japanese sets, it’s been standard practice for a while.

It kind of depends on the Pokémon. In the EN edition, the gen 4 pixies have been printed at ◆ a few times now, as have the gen 5 genies, Cresselia has had a ◆ print, etc…
