Poké-BODY ⇢ Dark Shadow
Each basic {D} Energy card attached to your {D} Pokémon now has the effect “If the Pokémon Darkness Energy is attached to attacks, the attack does 10 more damage to the Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).” You can’t use more than 1 Dark Shadow Poké-Body each turn.
{D}{D}{C} → Endless Darkness : 40
The Defending Pokémon is now Asleep. Flip 2 coins instead of 1 between turns. If either of them is tails, the Defending Pokémon is still Asleep. If both of them are tails, the Defending Pokémon is Knocked Out.
· Level-Up rule: Put this card onto your Active Darkrai. Darkrai LV.X can use any attack, Poké-Power, or Poké-Body from its previous level.

Okay, CRAZY question time. Say I have both this Darkrai and Charizard (EX) #6 in play, and my active Pokemon is Darkness type with some Darkness energy on it. If this Darkrai’s Poké-Body is active, and Charizard turns my Active Pokémon’s Darkness energy into Fire, will they still get the plus 10 damage? They’re no longer basic Darkness energy, but is the effect “If the Pokémon Darkness Energy is attached to attacks, the attack does 10 more damage to the Active Pokémon” still connected to the now Fire energy card?

You answered your own question: “They’re no longer basic Darkness energy”. Once you activate Burning Energy they are treated as basic Fire for the rest of the turn . At that point Dark Shadow does nothing because your energy are no longer Darkness.
