Coupled with her special Dedenne GX illustration, along with Dedenne appearing in multiple merch collaborations she’s done with the Pokemon Center, I suspect Dedenne may be her absolute favorite pokemon.

You’re probably right! There’s at least one other case of the same thing happening: Hitoshi Ariga’s favorite Pokémon is Misdreavus, and his first illustration for the TCG was a Misdreavus card.
