Poké-POWER ⇢ Reactive Shift
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may move a React Energy card attached to 1 of your Pokémon to another of your Pokémon. This power can’t be used if Delcatty is affected by a Special Condition.
{C} → Energy Link : 20
Search your discard pile for an Energy card and attach it to Delcatty.
{C}{C}{C} → Tail Whap : 40

Was this ever good?

I don’t think so.

I don’t see a reason to move React Energy. Accelerating from the discard would be a different story, though.

React energy is a four-per-deck thing, and most react energy effects read “if ” rather than “for each.” It’s not likely that you’re going to be drawing all four of them out (or even more than two,) and once they’re in the discard pile, they’re gone for the most part. The transfer allows you to keep the energy safe whenever you need to , and to keep it on your active pokemon whenever you need to. I’d say this is perfectly suited to interacting with react energy.

I think you misread. I think that being to accelerate React from discard is better than being able to move energy, simply because most of those effects discard the React.

It really is like the Porygon-Z [Plasma]. You don’t really need to move around a Special Energy that only provides [C].
