Probably the best Delcatty card ever printed…

It’s cool that this reprint extended Ruby and Sapphire Delcatty’s legacy into the 2007 season, where it got paired with Pokémon like Electabuzz delta species (Prior to the release of Diamond and Pearl) and Infernape Lv.X (After the release of Diamond and Pearl).
It already had quite a legacy for itself as a consistency engine alongside Magneton from Dragon in the 2004 Worlds format, but perhaps my favorite use of Delcatty is in the turbo-Electrode ex deck called BombCatty, which aims to pull off a quick Extra Energy Bomb and start dismantling your opponent’s vulnerable, early-game board with Max Energy Sources ranging from 60 damage to over 100.
