Poké-POWER ⇢ Energy Draw
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may discard 1 Energy card from your hand. Then draw up to 3 cards from your deck. This power can’t be used if Delcatty is affected by a Special Condition.
{C} → Max Energy Source : 10×
Does 10 damage times the amount of Energy attached to all of your Active Pokémon.

Darldmeir
One of the best cards of its time. Combine with Oracle to get any two cards from your deck. Also combos well with Blaziken (RS 3) or Magneton (DR 17).
Charmaster
Not only was Delcatty an amazing draw engine, but it’s also capable of being the main attacker of its own deck.
Electrode ex can knock itself out to attach any five Energy cards from your discard pile to your non-ex Pokémon, but since you didn’t have “Items” (Pure Trainer cards back then) like Ultra Ball which discarded cards from your hand for powerful search effects, you had to rely on Supporter cards like TV Reporter or the Holon Supporters/Holon Transceiver to fill the discard pile with Energy (Or sometimes Magmar from Team Rocket Returns).
But what happens if you use Delcatty to discard the Energy? The answer is a turbo deck that uses a 4-4 Delcatty line to speed your way through your deck (Even abusing Surprise! Time Machine to let the “same” Delcatty use Energy Draw multiple times a turn), filling your discard pile with Energy (Scramble Energy being the most important), and then blows up an Electrode ex to fuel Max Energy Sources often exceeding 100 damage… sometimes even by your second turn! Ideally you’d want to blow up 2 ‘Trodes and take all six prizes with two Delcatty before your opponent ever really got set up, but you can also use Delcatty ex or the aforementioned Magneton as attackers in a pinch. This deck is a blast to play, but very difficult to pilot at a high level. It’s about B-tier in Ruby and Sapphire through Power Keepers, but while you COULD build it in 2005, it probably doesn’t do well against Medicham ex.
It’s been a while since I played this deck due to how complex it is, but it’s the height of shenanigans, and I’m all for shenanigans. :D
