Poké-POWER ⇢ Form Change
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may search your deck for another Deoxys and switch it with Deoxys. (Any cards attached to Deoxys, damage counters, Special Conditions, and effects on it are now on the new Pokémon.) If you do, put Deoxys on top of your deck. Shuffle your deck afterward. You can’t use more than 1 Form Change Poké-Power each turn.

{L} → Teleportation Burst : 20
Switch Deoxys with 1 of your Benched Pokémon.

Why would you ever play this card?? It’s so totally weak, lol. 🧬 60 HP and only deals 20 damage.

Debut of “Teleportation Burst,” an attack that’s popped up in every generation since (except Gen 6)!

The attack is very similar to Teleport Blast, a move that debuted on Dark Alakazam and showed up again on Grumpig EM 29. However, where Teleportation Blast offered switching as an option, Teleport Burst makes it obligatory. And of course, both moves are just variant forms of the standard order Teleport attack, which debuted on Jungle Exeggutor.

As far as debuts, this card would actually be the second appearance of the Teleportation Burst attack. A JP-only Mew card came out as part of a JP-only theme deck in 2005, and Deoxys ẟ came out as part of Holon Phantom in 2006 :)
