{W}{W}{C}{C} → Crushing Ice : 40+

The specification on how to calculate the damage of Crushing Ice was added by WOTC; the original has no such clarifying text; it seems to be brand new copy for attacks that work like this…? It’s possible they grabbed this from some kind of internal errata that PCL had to the text of the card, but looking at later attacks that work similarly, such as EXD Girafarig’s Breaking Impact and Muk 𝒆𝒙’s Slimy Water, the JP text of those cards don’t have such clarifying text but something similar shows up on the EN cards again.

I was going to say “this close to the end of their contract, I’m surprised WOTC even bothered to revise the text of any of the effects of cards” but since the addition is unprompted, but continues into the PUSA era, this seems like another trace of evidence of continuity of staff from WOTC to PUSA.
